The Tourism & Transport Forum Australia (TTF) and the National Farmers’ Federation (NFF) are calling on the Federal Government to recognise the serious concerns about the negative impact of the proposed backpacker tax on industry by taking action to curtail it in next week’s Federal Budget.
Legislative Instrument - IMMI 2016/012 - F2016L00625 - Specification of Visas Attracting a Subsequent Temporary Application Charge, specifies in Schedule 1 the subclasses of visas, that when lodged in Australia while the applicant is the holder of a visa listed in Schedule 2, attract a subsequent temporary application charge.
